Positive: Location is nice with a family. Roomy cottages for 4 of us with small children.
Negative: No staff at the reception, there is a self cleaning policy which we had no idea about before booking and we couldn’t find any information on it until after booking the stay, cleanliness of the cottages was not good because of the cleaning policy and people having different ideas of what clean actually is. There were dead bugs all over the place, spider webs and spiders around the livingroom and other rooms. When we arrived there was no one at the reception, restaurant was closed and it was the entire time. We received a text message same day we arrived that there would be no breakfast that week just because. Next supermarket is miles away! We also received a phone call the day before we checked out asking us to come and pay for the stay within 1 hour. We were 30 minutes away meeting family so we were unable to go. Then we asked if we could pay at checkout which they agreed to but it had to be at 11:00 exactly when checkout time was because otherwise there would be no staff there. I told them we were planning to leave at 10:00 for a family thing and they asked us to leave at 10:30 instead to accomodate for their staff needs. All of this was not mentioned in the booking information before making the booking. If we would have known that we had to clean and accommodate for their staff, then we would have gone elsewhere.
